Dr Yumei Yao

Yumei obtained her PhD in Finance at Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. She is working in the Fintech area. She is interested in Financial Technology, Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), Corporate Finance, Climate Finance, Sustainable Finance, Financial Markets, and Portfolio Management. She published papers in Technological Forecasting and Social Change, as well as Quantitative Finance. 

Yumei is the module leader of the following modules in FinTech:

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Finance;

Principles of Fintech, Blockchain and Cloud Computing; 

Entrepreneurship in Fintech; 

Sustainable Finance;

Wealth Management.
