About me
I am currently working as a lecturer in Digital Business at the School of Applied Management, University of Westminster. Her research interest includes Data Quality, Data Reuse, Ontology Quality and Ontology Search and Selection for Reuse.
Teaching
So far, I have been responsible for leading and teaching different MSc. and BSc. modules in the Department of Computer Science and the School of Business and Economics in different universities and higher education institutes in England and Iran.
Research
Before joining the University of Westminster, I did my PhD titled “The evaluation of ontologies: quality, reuse and social factors” in the Centre for Information Management, School of Business and Economics, at Loughborough University. Since then, my research has mostly been focused on the data (/ontology) quality and how it can be evaluated. I am also interested in exploring some of the ways that businesses can analyse and use data while making day-to-day decisions.
I have supervised different BSc. and MSc. projects on different aspects of privacy and users' perception of privacy on social media applications e.g., Facebook. Some of the other projects I have supervised focused on the notion of data quality and trust in the time of a pandemic like COVID-19.
