About me
A former architect, Raouf changed his career to political science in 1993. He has a first degree in History and Politics from the Open University and a Master’s in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Westminster. His doctorate, from Westminster’s Centre for the Study of Democracy, was on United States foreign policy towards Iran.
Teaching
Raouf has been teaching comparative politics, theories of international relations, US domestic politics as well as foreign policy, European Union politics, global security and philosophy of social science.
Research
His research interests include EU-US relations, US foreign policy towards the Middle East and philosophy of social science.
