Dr Maria Postoyeva

I joined Westminster Business School in September 2020 as a senior lecturer in Accounting, having worked before as a lecturer for 6 years at  London South Bank, the University of Derby and UCL. Prior to this, I worked for nearly 20 years as an accountant in the UK and abroad. During this time I obtained professional qualifications and became FMAAT and qualified with ACCA. I also have several degrees in business related subjects as well as a master from the University of Bristol and a PhD from Moscow State University. Recently I also became a member of HEA and completed PG Certificate in Academic Practice with the City, University of London. 

My research interests include Knowledge Economy, Employability skills, ESG reporting and development of accounting standards and practices across the globe.
