About me
Veruska Oppedisano is a Reader in Economics. Her main research fields are Applied Microeconomics and Labour Economics. The topics she mainly investigated are related to Education, Health, and Crime Economics. Her recent research focused on strategies for mitigating disadvantaged young adults’ adverse outcomes. Before joining the University of Westminster, she worked at UCL and at the London Metropolitan University. She joined IZA as Research Fellow in August 2014 and the Institute for Fiscal Studies in September 2013.
Teaching
Veruska's interests are mainly in the areas of microeconomics and labour economics. She is currently module leader for Microeconomics 2. In addition she supervises undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
