About me

Miguel Noite is a Lecturer in Marketing and Management at the University of Westminster. With 14 years of industry experience, he brings a wealth of expertise from his career in marketing, e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, and entrepreneurship. Miguel is dedicated to integrating digital transformation within marketing strategies and consumer behaviour, aligning with the latest industry and academic advancements.

In his previous role at University of Westminster's WeNetwork, Miguel designed and implemented innovative programmes such as Start-Up 101, Freelance Essentials, and Skills Lab, coaching over 2000 students annually. He also oversaw the Elevate Incubator, supporting alumni businesses in the UK.

Research

Miguel’s research interests span enterprise and entrepreneurship, innovation, branding strategy, business development, advertising, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, design thinking, sustainability, events, and tourism marketing. 

His current Ph.D. research focuses on the push and pull factors influencing international students’ choices of Portugal as a destination educational country. His research has led to presentations at international conferences and contributions to academic publications.
