About me
I am course leader for LLM International Commercial Law. My teaching includes Intellectual Property (LLB & LLM), LLM e-Commerce Law, LLM ICL Foundations (Contract, Misrepresentation and Estoppel), and LLM ICL Dissertation.
My undergraduate degree was in Law (University college, University of Oxford, 1994). I did my PhD (awarded May 2000) at the University of Sheffield, on "The European Community and the Philosophical Basis of Copyright Law: Author's Rights, Freedom of Contract, and the Information Society".
I was a researcher in IT Law at Queen Mary college, University of London from 2000, and have been a senior lecturer at Westminster since 2004. My research interests include intellectual property and e-commerce Law, with a particular focus on copyright and the philosophical basis for - and arguments against - current IP laws.
