About me
I am an Airport Planner with over 15 years experience in the aviation industry, having been involved in the planning, capacity enhancement and operations of several major airports including Heathrow (Expansion Programme), Gatwick (Davies Commission 2ndRunway studies), Copenhagen Airport (Long Term Capacity Plan), Kansai Airport (Terminal 2 Reconfiguration), Vienna Airport (Capacity Peer Review), Mumbai Airport (City-side Master Plan), Hyderabad Airport (Design Team - Site Architect) and several other ‘airport technical due diligence’ and ‘airport privatisation’ projects.
I hold an MSc in Airport Planning and Management from Cranfield University, UK; and an Architecture undergraduate degree from the National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India.
Teaching
I have been a guest lecturer for several years in the UK, teaching at the University of Surrey, Cranfield and Westminster on their MSc courses in Aviation. I recently joining the teaching team at the University of Westminster as a permanent member of academic staff. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and am working towards my fellowship.
Research
I am currently doing a doctoral research at the University of Westminster and my research topic is ' The Impact of Digital Transformation on Airports'.
