About me
Kienda is a law consultant and principle lecturer in media law and music business. He is a member of the Georgia and California Bar associations. He has also held two international lectureships in Helsinki Finland and St Petersburg Russia. In addition to this he is a visiting researcher and lecturer at Peking University, Beijing China where he teaches global music industry management and undertakes music industry research with Peking University's cultural studies institute. He has sat on various music industry committees such as the Performing rights society advisory forum, the British R&B Association and is a founding member of the Entertainment sport and media law committee of the African Caribbean and Asian Lawyers group. He assisted the UK Government in devising and implementing the New Deal for Musicians programme, having previously advised Kingston University's Small Business Research Centre on the methodology for 'Banking On a Hit' (2001, DCMS).
