About me

Thanos is a Lecturer in entrepreneurship at the University of Westminster.

His research primarily focuses on innovation paradoxes, innovation systems, income inequality, innovation policy, and methodological issues related to the study of innovation.He has written extensively on topics such as the "European Regional Paradox," which examines how innovation does not always translate into economic benefits in certain regions. 

Thanos has published research in several international peer-reviewed journals, including Research PolicyEuropean Planning StudiesPrometheus, and the International Review of Sociology. He is also the author of a monograph on regional innovation performance in the European Union and the recipient of the NESTA Award for innovation studies.

Recently, Thanos participated in a research project on innovation and regional productivity, commissioned by the OECD and the European Commission.
