About me
Driven by Scandinavian values in both her academic work and research interests Berit applies her industry experience and societal data knowledge to encourage students to move beyond fashion trends, create positive impact, invest in brands with strong corporate values and challenge the role of data in society.
Berit is currently researching ways to enhance the EDI relationships between the University of Westminster and People with Lived Experience through fashion business projects, entrepreneurship, financial skills development, and mentoring.
Current research projects focus on the impact of algorithms on societal reintegration and the effectiveness of impact programmes by corporations and charities in reducing recidivism in the UK.
