About me
Christopher is director of Polysemic, an interdisciplinary design studio focused on the creation of places for performance and the technical and cultural infrastructure that supports them.
Having trained at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Bartlett, UCL, Chris has worked as both a theatre consultant (with Charcoalblue) and as an architect (with Eric Parry, amongst others). In 2011 he was part of a small group that built the Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick and remained a trustee until 2018.
He was nominated for the 2019 Arts Foundation Fellowship in Experimental Architecture and is London coordinator for the Long Now Foundation.
