About me

I am Research Fellow at the School of Architecture and Cities of the University of Westminster, currently exploring ways to reimagine city streets that are more just, healthy, safe and inclusive for all. I'm passionate about the fields of urban planning, international development and sustainability, with expertise developed across academia, international organisations and the third sector, in both Asia and Europe. I've been involved in a number of multi-stakeholder projects on topics ranging from socio-spatial justice to green urban mobility, regional development, urban climate action and education for sustainable development.

I hold a doctorate in Urban Studies from the University of Westminster, which explored wellbeing, urban regeneration and socio-spatial justice in China. I also have a background in the culture and heritage sectors, having obtained an MA in Cultural Heritage Studies from University College London in 2013. Between 2014 – 2017, I worked for WHITRAP, a UNESCO Category II Centre based in Shanghai (China) and affiliated with the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University.
