About me
More than 35 years of practitioner experience in UK but also overseas as Architect and Chartered Planner. After a period of employment overseas and returning to the UK as partner, established own master-planning/architecture consultancy. As planning director acquired wide-ranging experience of development projects at scale and complexity; significant heritage experience and appeal caseload, Public Inquiries and Local Plans. Pro-bono work portfolio includes advice to voluntary sector in a number of east European and African countries.
Current posts include as Inspector (NSI) with Planning Inspectorate and non-executive director in Planning and Development Consultancy (West Midlands).
Teaching
Part of the Course Team responsible for the Post-graduate Urban and Regional Planning Courses at Westminster; teaching responsibilities include all aspects of planning law and practice - studies in implementation and technical/legal aspects of the planning profession
