About me
Anne Barker has been the Assistant Head of School for Management and Marketing since 2018 and now leads a team of dynamic Management professionals within a diverse and innovative portfolio of courses. This includes the new MBA and the long established MA Management, as well as the highly successful BA Business Management (one of the largest courses in the University) and its sister course the BA Business Management Marketing. The recent launch of the new BA Sports Management has taken the School in a new and exciting direction. Previously, Anne led the Marketing group where she reshaped the course portfolio and built a strong and energetic team.
Anne’s career highlights include working in the marketing sector with a number of FMCG companies, including Allied Lyons, where she focused on branding and new product development and worked as a consultant in the financial services market.
Anne spent many years as an international academic in Australia at Deakin University, the Gordon Institute and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
