You can never get bored in London, there are so many things to do and so many places to visit.

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I chose the University of Westminster mainly because it is a good University for Accounting: it offers many opportunities as it provides lots of internships. It is also partnered with ACCA, meaning that it will be much easier for me to become a Chartered Accountant.

How has your experience been studying in London?

You can never get bored in London, there are so many things to do and so many places to visit. London is full of diversity and cultures, and it offers excellent education and work opportunities.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

I study Accounting and what I enjoy the most about this course is how it allows me to understand businesses better from the financial point of view.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

Lecturers are always ready to help you and answer any question you may have, not only during lessons and their office hour, but also outside these hours.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The University offered SAGE 50 free of charge, which normally costs more than £50.

Tell us about your experience of using the University Careers and Employability Service

I have attended training for job interviews. It has been very helpful, as it gave me knowledge about the process, strengthened my communication skills and boosted my confidence.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

I am a Student Ambassador so I have been able to work in other schools with secondary school students. I explain what it’s like to be a university student and I give advice on how to approach this new experience in the best way possible.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

Make the most out of your University experience. You should study but you should also make friendships and socialise.

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

The best aspect of being a University of Westminster student is that you are trained to become a professional in your field of study.

What was the most surprising or unexpected aspect of your Westminster experience?

The most surprising aspect of University is to see how multicultural and diverse it is. There are people from so many countries and cultures and they all integrate in the university.
