This unique course piqued my interest and presented a new opportunity for personal and professional growth. Moreover, upon speaking to current students from diverse academic backgrounds, their enthusiastic recommendations further reinforced my decision. They praised the Business School’s helpfulness and approachability, a crucial aspect that deeply resonated with me. Lastly, the University's administrative process proved to be supportive, organised and efficient during the admission process, compared to other universities I was considering.
 

How has your experience been studying in London?

Studying in London has been a truly transformative experience for me. As a bustling metropolis, this city has given me the unparalleled opportunity to connect with peers from across the globe and immerse myself in a diverse and dynamic cultural setting. Moreover, London's status as a hub for cutting-edge advancements in the field of human resources has enabled me to gain invaluable insights and skills.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

I have gained a deeper understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of many of the experiences I have encountered in the workplace. My course has equipped me with valuable insights that are applicable on a global scale. I believe that the issues we discussed are not only relevant today, but will also gain significant momentum in the future, making my learning experience even more impactful.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

All the academic members that I have met with were knowledgeable and supportive. They were also aware of current industry practices and were ready to give feedback when required.
 

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The ability to select optional modules in my course, allowed me to tailor it to my personal interests and professional goals, making it a truly personalised experience. Moreover, as a student, I had the opportunity to become an associate member of CIPD. This invaluable membership gave me exclusive access to the latest information and resources about my industry and allowed me to network with fellow professionals in the industry.
 

Tell us about your experience of using the University Careers and Employability Service

The Careers and Employability Service gives students a chance to attend work-related workshops like those on job hunting and CV writing. I also took advantage of the option to receive personalised feedback which helped me improve my CV a lot. This service also helped me identify different jobs that I could apply for.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

I really enjoyed attending workshops and networking events outside my course. These were not only useful but also helped me connect with people from the world of work.
 

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

I would suggest that you make use of all the resources that the University provides, whether it is academic support or employability services. Moreover, the online library is exhaustive and the library at the University also provides space for quiet study.

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

As a student at the University of Westminster, I got the chance to not only get a qualification that is world renowned but also to study in the heart of London and be at the forefront of all the innovations in my field of work.
