Feeric Fashion Week integrates avant-garde fashion with an educational focus, offering a platform for emerging fashion design talents worldwide. It is attended by over 200 students across 25 universities in Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. During Fashion Week, collections from a network of aspiring student designers are shown on the runway, in exhibitions and more. Runway shows were held in inspiring venues throughout Sibiu and viewed by over 25,000 people.

Feeric Fashion Week is the annual flagship event sponsored by the Feeric Fashion Hub, an initiative that promotes emerging fashion designers, particularly from Central and Eastern Europe, and internationally.  The Hub offers various resources, including mentorship, workshops and connections with industry professionals, which supports young designers who are pushing creative boundaries in fashion.

The Creative Concept to Commercial Collection masterclass was designed for students to learn how to develop their fashion designs to meet the commercial needs of the target market, finding the opportunity to start their own brand. Students enjoyed the interactive session, allowing them to share their experiences and ambitions. Additionally, the masterclass provided insight into what it would be like to study fashion at the University of Westminster, specifically introducing the new postgraduate fashion courses being launched in September 2025.

Curtis and Reed said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to be able to present a masterclass at Feeric Fashion Week 2024 to such a talented and diverse group of students. The students were very engaged and enthusiastic about their future in the fashion industry.”

This event directly contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Since 2019, the University of Westminster has used the SDGs holistically to frame strategic decisions to help students and colleagues fulfil their potential and contribute to a more sustainable, equitable and healthier society.
