Nomiki Bibliothiki offers a full range of products and services for legal practitioners, businesses and scholars in the corporate, government, law enforcement and financial markets.

It also offers several professional training programs, congresses, legal platforms and innovating tools to improve productivity, increase profitability and stimulate growth for law firms and businesses.

The collaboration, which will run in into 2022, has launched the first micro-credentials course designed by Westminster which is a short course that examines legal aspects of investing in British companies and is aimed at Greek lawyers, accountants, investment advisers, business executives and banks.

The course is designed to offer directly usable and actionable information on the regulatory and legal framework that affects investments in the UK. Students of the course will gain key knowledge of the business environment, types of investment, means of investing and the legal consequences of selecting different investment avenues.

Students will also attain an overall understanding of the tax implications of various investment choices. Completing the course will allow students to attain a core understanding of the legal aspects of the investment climate in the UK and will equip them with the tools necessary to advise others seeking to enter the British market.

Speaking about the collaboration, Dr Ioannis Glinavos, Senior Lecturer in Westminster Law School, said: “We’re very excited to be working with Nomiki Bibliothiki on an area of higher education that is attracting a lot of interest at the moment. This course is aimed to be the starting point in a longer collaboration across a number of different fields with our partner in Athens.”
