Join us for the online launch of How to Teach Language Learning Strategies: 4 simple steps for successful language learning.
The event will be hosted by Kate Weir, Principal Lecturer (University of Westminster) and María Blanco, the author.
The book is written for language teachers and coaches who want to enable their students to become skilful and confident independent language learners, to self-regulate and to enjoy the language learning process.
During the book launch, we will discuss the importance and challenges of integrating strategy training into language classrooms and coaching sessions. We will also go through the key points of the four-step sequence presented in the book and discuss the feedback received from students who have undergone this kind of strategy training.
