The Mrs M’s Education Fund is a maintenance bursary awarded to outstanding female students from the Law, Digital Media and Communication, and Accounting and Business Management programs in their final year of study. Established in loving memory of Mrs M, this bursary honours her legacy of empowering women and breaking down barriers like the "glass door."
Amount
Three eligible students will receive a one-off grant of £2,000 during their final year.
Eligibility criteria
- You must be a Level 6, full-time undergraduate UK student at the University of Westminster for the academic year 2024–25, fully enrolled in one of the following courses: Law LLB, Digital Media and Communication BA or Accounting and Business Management BA
- You must be in receipt of your full undergraduate student loan (including maintenance-based funding) from Student Loans Company for 2024–25 and have a household income of less than £25,000 per annum
- You must demonstrate financial need
- First in your family to attend university, with reference only to parents (siblings excluded)
- Open to female students only
- Part-time module retrievers are not eligible to apply
