When you enrol, you formally become a University of Westminster student. Completing all parts of enrolment is essential for accessing your student loan, course materials and University resources.
How to complete your enrolment
When your place at the University is confirmed, you'll receive an email inviting you to enrol.
You'll then need to go through the following steps.
1. Submit your information
To start your enrolment, you'll need to log in to our online Applicant Portal and upload your personal information, identification documents and photo – you'll be given instructions within the Portal.
For information on setting up your password and how to get help logging in, visit our Applicant Portal help page.
If you're an international student and you need help with your CAS, visa or have any other questions about your arrival in the UK, see our Enrolment for new international students page.
Your enrolment status
After submitting your information on the Applicant Portal, you'll have the status of 'Not enrolled', which means that your enrolment is in progress – we still need to check your information and, in some cases, invite you to an enrolment session on campus.
2. We'll check your details
University staff will check the information, photo and documents you've uploaded online.
In some cases (for all international students and some UK students) you may need to show us your documents in person at our Marylebone Campus – if you do, you'll receive an email with more details.
Your enrolment status
You may have the status of 'Temporarily enrolled' after this stage if you still need to show us your ID, visa or related documents. We'll let you know what we need from you. With this status, you'll still have access to our campuses, services, support and online systems. If we've reviewed your information and we have everything we need from you, your status will be 'Fully enrolled', meaning that you've completed your enrolment and you're an official student at the University of Westminster. You'll now have access to all our services, support and resources.
3. Collect your student ID card and attend your course induction
You'll need to come to campus to collect your student ID card and attend your course induction.
Find your collection time slot and location on your course induction page:
- Undergraduate course inductions
- Postgraduate course inductions
- Graduate School enrolment and induction
Enrolment deadline
The final date to complete your enrolment is Monday 7 October 2024.
You will need to have your student visa if relevant, entered the UK on your student visa and attend our enrolment centre in person during our opening hours.
If you're having problems completing enrolment or are worried that you won't be able to enrol by the deadline, it's vital that you contact us as soon as you can at [email protected] or use the live chat on the Support and services page.
If you miss the final enrolment deadline, you may lose your place on your course, so get in touch to discuss any problems you're having.
