Warm wishes ahead to our community celebrating Eid Al-Fitr 2025

The University wishes Eid Mubarak ahead of Eid to all of our students, colleagues, alumni and friends who will be celebrating.

Eid al-Fitr or Festival of Breaking the Fast, is a religious celebration observed by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the month-long dawn to sunset observance of fasting, prayer, reflection and community.

Eid al-Fitr is usually marked by attending a morning prayer in one’s finest clothes, and it can last for up to three days depending on different cultures and countries.

In 2025, Eid al-Fitr is expected to fall on Sunday, 30 March or Monday, 31 March, depending on the sighting of the moon, however some Muslims may begin celebrations a day later.
