The University of Westminster wishes our community a blessed Ramadan

Ramadan occurs on the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar and marks the month the Qur’an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammed. The observation by Muslims worldwide comprises of fasting, prayer, reflection and community including charitable activities and donations, for those Muslims who are able to do so.

This year, Ramadan is expected to begin on the evening of Wednesday 22 March and end on the evening of Friday 21 April, which is marked by Eid ul-Fitr, a festival of thanksgiving to God.

The University of Westminster wishes Ramadan Mubarak to all of our students, colleagues, alumni and friends.
