The Health Innovation and Wellbeing Research Community are offering a rewarding opportunity for people from Black backgrounds to share their ideas on the development of a research project on young Black male wellbeing.

The workshop will bring together a team of Westminster researchers, involving Damien Ridge, Mykaell Riley, Andrew Groves and Catherine Loveday, and their collaborators to develop a grant application aimed at helping young Black males to deal with the stresses and strains of life.

The Research team would like to work with participants to advise on ways to support and improve young Black male wellbeing. These contributions will help design research highlighting men’s experiences, to a view of improving how they see themselves, how society sees men, and ensuring better support and care when things are too much to handle.

The workshop will be delivered face-to-face at Cavendish Campus on Thursday 23 June, from 10.00am to 12.30pm. People contributing to the workshop will be reimbursed for their time.

To register your interest, please complete this short form by Sunday 12 June. Selected participants will then be contacted by Wednesday 15 June.
