Around campus, you’ll find posters featuring 16 of your fellow students’ reflections on all the opportunities available at Westminster and how they’ve ‘made every day count’.
These students have shared how the various employability schemes available here at Westminster – such as the Westminster Employability Award, the WeNetwork, mentoring opportunities and Westminster Working Cultures – have helped them discover more about themselves and about what they want to do after graduation.
Some students have highlighted the forms of support on offer such as free gym memberships, wellbeing services, academic support and funding opportunities. And others have shared their experience of Westminster as an inclusive space, one that prioritises sustainability and allows students to be taught in a way that gets them ready for the world of work.
Posters also spotlight schemes led by the UWSU, with one student reflecting on how joining a free society was one of the best parts of their Westminster experience – and another sharing how much they value being a student rep and having the opportunity to make change happen for themselves and their peers.
The student stories are there to inspire you to make the most of all that’s on offer, to let you know what’s out there and to encourage you to ‘go for it’.
