The deadline to apply for the Students as Co-Creators programme is fast approaching.
If you have an idea about a way to improve your learning experience, you could receive up to £500 worth of funding and a £150 bursary to turn that idea into a reality – adding real value to your time at university.
What does the programme involve?
Working alongside colleagues at Westminster, you’ll be given the space to address issues such as social justice in higher education and decolonising your curricula as well as to conduct various forms of research to improve your course and modules.
The Students as Co-Creators programme gives students three options:
- Curriculum Design Collaborations - work with academic colleagues to develop an aspect of your course or module. This may be revising course materials or the syllabus, for example.
- Disciplinary Research Collaborations - collaborate with colleagues to conduct subject-specific research.
- Learning and Teaching Research Collaborations - partner with colleagues to explore an area of interest in learning, teaching or the student experience.
What’s in it for you?
- Collaborate with academic colleagues at Westminster
- Connect with fellow students on the project
- Enrich your learning and teaching as well as your research skills
- Develop an aspect of your course or module from a student perspective
- Receive up to £500 of funding and £150 bursary
- Develop employability and project management skills
The deadline for applications is 2 November 2022.
