The University's current Kyocera multifunctional devices (MFDs), that allow printing, copying, Webprint and email2me functionality, are due to be replaced with new Ricoh multifunctional devices across the campuses over the next couple of months.

These new devices will provide all the current functionality with new features due to be released in the future.

Based on the current print and copy usages of the current devices, we have reduced the number of devices in some locations to reduce costs and our carbon footprint.

The roll-out of the new Ricoh devices will commence before the end of February. Devices across all campus locations can still be used by all students and colleagues during that time.

Please note that any Webprint jobs will only be released on the Kyocera devices during the deployment process .

As part of the rollout, we will also be upgrading our Papercut system, which manages our print and copying environment. The Papercut upgrade will take place on 16 February from 8am to 6pm.  No printing, copying, Webprint, email2me or topup services will be available on that day.

If you require further information about this upgrade, please contact the IT Service Desk on 020 7915 5488, (opening hours 8.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday).
