Student Testimonial
Of her experience being supported by The Aziz Foundation, former scholarship recipient Jameela Yasmin said: "Beyond providing funding, The Aziz Foundation offers an extensive network and a wealth of support, resources and assistance. Their genuine concern for students is evident, as they go the extra mile by offering access to additional programmes for mentoring and other valuable opportunities. The scholarship opens doors to opportunities that might have been otherwise challenging to access. I highly recommend individuals seeking to advance their education to explore opportunities with The Aziz Foundation."
Eligibility
Please note that the scholarships are only open to those who qualify for Home Fees status in the UK, and applications from international students will therefore not be considered.

More about the Westminster and the Aziz Foundation
Westminster has been a pioneer since 1838, when we started as one of the first polytechnics in the UK, established to 'educate the working people' of London regardless of background or financial status. Today, we continue to build on our long-held commitment to widening access to underrepresented groups in society. We are the UK's most diverse University, with over 20,000 students from 169 different nationalities. 46% of our students are the first in their families to attend university, and nearly 33% of our home students are from low-income families and face financial barriers to extracurricular learning.
In 2022 we were pleased to build a partnership with the Aziz Foundation which runs the Scholarship Programme to support British Muslims studying at UK universities, supporting Master’s Scholarships for two students (one student studying Law and the other studying Multimedia Journalism).
