Would you like to learn tools to manage stress and improve your health?
Evidence indicates that yoga has wide-ranging benefits for physical and mental health, including reducing stress, enhancing sporting performance and improving mood, sleep and wellbeing. Our study looks at the effects of an 8-week yoga programme– designed for men - on health and biomarkers of stress (cortisol).
What is involved?
- FREE weekly Yoga4men classes for 8 weeks (Wednesday pm in Regent St gym)
- Additional resources to support your practice and stress-management
- Opportunity to contribute to new research
- £30 voucher for completing the study
You are eligible if you:
- Are a current student, identifying as male
- Do not currently practise yoga or meditation
- Are willing to commit to 8 weekly yoga classes (catch-up online sessions are available if you miss a class)
- Are willing to fill out questionnaires and provide salivary samples at the start and end of the study
The course is secular and designed for all levels, including absolute beginners. You do not have to be flexible or fit!
