The Sustainability Team invites you to take part in the Biodiversity Creative Arts Competition, a chance to explore and express the importance of biodiversity and sustainability through art.
This competition encourages students to highlight London’s diverse flora, fauna and ecosystems while showcasing their creativity.
Competition Categories
Participants can enter in one of two categories:
- Visual Arts – including drawings, paintings, sculptures and other creative visual pieces.
- Digital & Performance Arts – including videos, digital artwork, performances and poetry.
Prizes & Recognition
There will be first, second, and third-place winners in each category, with exciting prizes up for grabs:
- 1st Prize: Gift bag & certificate (£70 value)
- 2nd Prize: Gift bag & certificate (£50 value)
- 3rd Prize: Gift bag & certificate (£30 value)
Winners will also have the opportunity to showcase their work at the Awards Ceremony and Exhibition at London Gallery West on 15 April 2025, where all submitted artworks will be displayed.
Entry Guidelines
Submission deadline: 1 April 2025
- Videos must be a maximum of 2 minutes long
- Visual artwork must be A1 size
- Poetry must be presented as a visual piece
- All submissions must include a 200-word explanation describing the concept and its connection to biodiversity and sustainability
- Sustainable materials are encouraged
