The University is now equipped with a ‘Grammarly for Education’ institutional license, providing you access to Grammarly's writing assistance tools.
Grammarly is designed to help users confidently communicate across various devices and platforms.
The tool helps you to improve your written content in essays, reports, emails, or presentations by making suggestions to improve correctness, clarity, engagement, and overall delivery of your work. Grammarly's suggestions seamlessly integrate into your writing process.
Get started using Grammarly by browsing to Grammarly.com, and sign in with your Westminster email address. You’ll be then directed to the University’s authentication system where you’ll have to enter your University password.
Check the LibGuide page to find out how to use Grammarly.
Grammarly also includes access to ‘GrammarlyGO’, a generative AI writing assistant that operates similarly to ‘CHATGPT’. However, ‘GrammarlyGO’ is uniquely equipped with various guardrails that align with our University's policies. This ensures that you can make the most of generative AI in legitimate ways aligned with the University’s policy and guidance on the use of Generative AI.
For any assistance related to 'GrammarlyGo', please check the GrammarlyGo webpage.
