We wish a meaningful Yom Kippur to all of our students, colleagues, alumni and friends who are observing.
Yom Kippur translates to ‘Day of Atonement’ and is considered to be the most important day in the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur is the culmination of the ten days of repentance following Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. It is commemorated with a 25-hour-long fast.
The day begins at sunset on Friday 11 October and is observed until nightfall on Saturday 12 October.
Gmar Chatima Tova (meaning may you be sealed in the Book of Life) to all our students, colleagues, alumni and friends who are observing.
