Ever wanted to study abroad and learn more about yourself and the world around you? If you are interested in spending a semester or year abroad studying at one of our global partner institutions, and you are eligible to do so, the Student Mobility team invite you to complete an application for the 23/24 exchange programme.
Why do an exchange?
One of the main benefits of undertaking an exchange is the opportunity to make your degree truly global. Studying overseas will expose you to new cultures, customs, and ways of thinking. International experiences also help develop soft skills and improve employability, with students going on an exchange more likely to have higher earnings upon graduation. *
Next steps
If you’re interested in applying, please check out the partners available for you in your college on Global Opportunities Blackboard. We ask that you research the exchange partners you are interested in applying for in detail - including associated costs of living in your preferred country and any country-associated costs (particularly for partners in the USA).
The application for the exchange programme can be found on Blackboard.
If you are interested in a placement overseas as part of your degree, please do get in touch with your College placement team.
Please note that students undertaking a period of study overseas do not pay tuition fees to the partner institution, and funding is available to students for overseas activities.
If your degree is eligible and you are interested in studying abroad for semester one, semester two or the full 23/24 academic year, please submit your application by the deadline on 6 February.
If you have any questions about this or any of our other international opportunities, please contact the Student Mobility team via [email protected].
