As students, you’ll regularly be sending emails, searching for information on the internet and completing assignments online.

Tips on keeping your data and your work safe

1. Use official email addresses or social media accounts 
2. Invest in Anti-Virus Software 
3. Do not log into unsecured networks and make sure your machine has the latest updates for the Operating System and applications.  
4. Back up your work safely   
5. Use strong and unique passwords   
6. Do not click on suspicious links or download files from unknown sources  
7. Be aware of data-stealing and phishing 
8. Don’t overshare on social media
