We would like to advise students of an upcoming temporary closure of our Cavendish campus – both Copland and Cavendish buildings for essential work to power and networks.
Work will be carried out from 6pm on Friday 2 June and all services will be reinstated by 6am on Monday 5 June. There will be no access to the New Cavendish Street campus buildings during this time, including Copland, the Library and any research laboratories.
We recommend students find alternative space in other campuses for study space, library services, meetings or access to Wi-Fi and the internet.
Throughout this period there will be no Information Systems and Support Services available, and all network and telephony services will be unavailable onsite at Cavendish for the duration of the outage. Access to online systems will remain unaffected - for clarity, this means access to online systems, where access is made outside of the Cavendish Campus.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience whilst these vital upgrades are carried out.
