The way you log into Blackboard is set to change from Tuesday 28 June.
When the change takes place, you will be required to log into Blackboard using the format: ‘[email protected]’ rather than just your ‘username’ as it is now.
For example, if your student username is w1234567, your login account for Blackboard will be ‘[email protected]’ rather than ‘w1234567’ as it is currently.
The change will introduce the Single-Sign-On (SSO) system which uses the University’s Microsoft login account. This change was made to improve the availability of the service by using the cloud-based Microsoft authentication system.
