Arrangements for students on Monday 19 September

Monday 19 September has been designated a public holiday for Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral and this requires us to make some changes to how we operate on that day.

Campus access

The University will be closed on Monday 19 September. However, our halls of residence will remain open – and The Forum at Harrow and Learning Platform at Marylebone will be open to students in our halls to use, with café facilities available from 9am to 4pm.

For those of you who are planning to move into halls on Monday 19 September, you will still be able to do this, and we’ll be there to support you.

Our Live Chat service - which you can find in the bottom-right corner of the Student Hub home page - will also be available from 1pm to 8pm to answer any questions you may have.

Enrolment and arrivals activity

Enrolment and arrivals activities originally scheduled for Monday 19 September will no longer be taking place on that day – and we are making arrangements to reschedule these.

As you might expect, rearranging Monday’s activities may have an impact on your schedule later in the week, so please double-check your Arrivals Week timetable from Friday evening (16 September) and each day next week.

You can find your Arrivals Week timetable by navigating to your course via the links below:

Following Arrivals Week, teaching activities for the new semester will start as planned on Monday 26 September.

We wish you all the best as you prepare to join us. We can’t wait to welcome you to Westminster.
