We are delighted to announce the University is launching a new Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summer School in collaboration with Westminster International University of Tashkent (WIUT).

The SDG Summer School has been created to provide Level 5 students with opportunities to increase their employability by engaging with industry experts and professionals who are directly contributing to the SDGs in their day-to-day activities.

Level 5 students that take part will work alongside students from WIUT to develop and present a solution to a real-life issues in Tashkent. They will also the get the opportunity to explore Tashkent, build international friendships, and network with industry experts.

Dates and application:

The programme will take place this year at WIUT in Tashkent from the 22 May to 26 May.  

All level 5 students are welcome to apply by completing this short application form by Sunday 27 March. The programme is fully funded including travel, accommodation, and food.

All students participating in the Summer School will be able to fulfil their 35 hours of Work-Based Placement Learning requirements and get additional points towards the Employability Awards.

There are limited spaces so please make sure applications are submitted by Sunday 27 March for students who wish to take part in the Summer School. The entire duration of the programme will take place from the 20 May - 27 May, which includes international travel time.
