Eid Mubarak (meaning 'have a blessed festival') to all of our students, colleagues, alumni and community members celebrating.
Eid al-Adha, ‘the Festival of Sacrifice’, is one of the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar. It marks the end of Hajj, which is the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca - one of the five pillars of Islam.
The main focus of celebrations this year includes morning prayers on Sunday 16 June, and this may extend in the days that follow.
We wish Eid Mubarak to all of our students, colleagues, alumni and community members celebrating.
