About the internships
Thanks to an institutional agreement between the University and the United Nations Migration Agency (also known as the International Organization for Migration - IOM), Westminster students can apply for exclusive internship opportunities at IOM offices around the world. Westminster’s IOM interns receive funding in support of their internships from dedicated University funds.
This year the programme enters its fourth year, with several students from diverse disciplinary areas, from politics to data sciences, having successfully completed these internships over the past three years, with many securing full employment at the UN Migration Agency following the completion of their internship.
About the session
IOM representatives, including Michael Emery IOM's director of Human Resources, will attend the session to provide information about this UN agency and the internship programme. He will also answer any questions to help you submit a strong application. Some of the programme's past interns will also join in to share their experiences with attendees.
