Four people meditating

This series of four classes will be given by David Morris, an experienced meditation teacher and member of the University's Interfaith team.

In these sessions, David will teach a mindfulness meditation technique that allows us to 'make friends with our own mind', finding ways to stabilise our attention and deepen our awareness; a skill which can open up our minds and hearts to a fuller and more rewarding life. There will be guided sessions of sitting and walking meditation, discussion groups and support in establishing a regular meditation practice. The approach is inclusive and available to students and staff of all faiths and none.

  • Session One: Wednesday 9 February, 3 - 4:30pm: 'Meditation Instruction'
  • Session Two: Wednesday 16 February, 3 - 4:30pm: 'Mindfulness & Awareness'
  • Session Three: Wednesday 23 February, 3 - 4:30pm: 'Obstacles & Antidotes'
  • Session Four: Wednesday 2 March, 3 - 4:30pm: 'Meditation in Everyday Life'

Please Note:

These classes are for students and staff of the University of Westminster only.

Signing up requires a commitment to try to attend all four sessions.

These sessions are planned to take place in-person at the Harrow campus.

Future sessions are planned for a central London campus but all students and staff are welcome to attend the Harrow classes.
