Join the Student Mobility Team for an exclusive screening of “Granada Nights” produced and directed by Abid Khan, who formerly studied at the University of Westminster.

Inspired by his own experiences of studying overseas, the director explores the benefits and challenges of studying abroad. The film’s leading actor is Antonio Aakeel who has starred in a number of  TV roles and films including 'Tomb Raider' and 'Eaten by Lions'.

The screening will be followed by a question and answer session with Abid, Antonio and the Student Mobility Team on the topic of studying abroad.

Granada Nights

A British-Pakistani tourist is stuck in Granada, Spain with a broken heart. Feeling lost and abandoned, he befriends a group of young foreigners and crashes into the heart of the international student scene. He pushes himself out of his comfort zone and tries to restart his life, but behind every corner is a reminder of his ex-girlfriend and his struggle to find closure.

A love letter to Granada that mixes documentary with fiction to create a real and authentic heartfelt examination on the process of self-discovery.
