This event, taking place at Regent Street Cinema, aims to highlight the sustainability issues and developments in modern-day fashion.
The screening of the award-winning documentary Fashion Reimagined is the focal point of the evening. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion moderated by Bel Jacobs, a journalist who has championed fashion sustainability. Her panel guests are Eshita Kabra-Davies who founded By Rotation and Esther Knight who created the Fanfare label. Both companies are committed to climate-friendly practices to ensure their customers enjoy fashion without a materially detrimental effect on the planet.
Tiffanie Darke is a panel participant and activist, author and retailer working in the sustainable fashion space. Also joining is Efrata Tadesse, a first-year student of Westminster’s sustainable fashion course.
For students, there is a reduced ticket price of £8.
Students and members of the audience will be encouraged to ask questions of the panel and filming of the roundtable discussion will deliver future teaching material”.
