
What is Brain Awareness Week?
Dana Foundation's Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science. Annually in March, organisations host events and activities and raise awareness across their communities.

The Schools of Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Arts and the Brain Matters Society are bringing together a week of exciting brain-related events.
- Monday 10 March, 10am-6pm, The Pavilion (C1.18), Cavendish Campus
Westminster Neuroscience Symposium
Join us to discover the latest research, trends and advancements in developmental, cognitive and molecular and cellular neuroscience. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn, share ideas, and connect with fellow science enthusiasts and scientists.

Brain Health and Brain Care - workshop series
This event will include multisensory awareness, breathing work and tuning to synaesthetic sounds (11am), nutrition & diet for better brain health (12noon), mindfulness interactive session (1pm), neurodiversity and wellbeing (2pm) and yoga (4pm).

- Thursday 13 March, Room C2.07 Cavendish Campus - Brain and Clay
Build a brain model and explore your creativity using clay.
- Friday 14 March, 3pm onwards, The Pavilion (C1.18), Cavendish Campus - What happens after a Brain Injury?
Find out from clinical experts and from lived experience experts. This event will be followed by refreshments and comedy with a twist from 5:30pm.
