Audiences will visit the Soho Poly for a performance-style 'Ghost Gig' and have the opportunity to disrupt their day with culture.
About the event
Audiences will visit the Soho Poly for a performance-style event. Drawing on the Ghost gig project, audiences will listen to recorded extracts of past concerts linked to the place in which they originally took place. They will be encouraged to share their memories of significant musical events from their own lives and consider how these can be thought of as personal 'landmarks'. See the found sounds and ghost gigs page for more information on ghost gigs.
This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 7–16 November 2024. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, the festival is being held in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
