Free movement of EU/ EEA and Swiss nationals into the UK ended on 31 December 2020. If you arrived before 1 January, you can apply for EU settlement and though you may not want to settle in the UK this may be the simplest way to ensure your rights to study, work and travel in and out of the UK throughout your course.
This session covers some of the basic requirements signposting you to the application form and explaining how the EU Settlement Scheme works. After free movement ends, if you are an EU/EEA or Swiss national, you must apply for a student visa to come study in the UK.
