The Turing Scheme
The Turing Scheme is the UK government’s programme to provide funding for international opportunities in education and training across the world. From 2023–24 onwards, it will be the only external funding source to support students undertaking international opportunities. Funding is available for placements between four weeks and one year in duration.
The scheme has a focus on widening participation with additional funding available for students who traditionally face more barriers to international opportunities.

The experience has helped me secure a graduate job with a leading real estate firm. During my assessment centre and interview, I felt a great sense of confidence as I was equipped with international experience which helped me standout.
A once in a lifetime experience! It is so important to learn the perspectives that the East have on your field of study, particularly if you’re studying Psychology. It will also make you more employable when you graduate.
