Dr Peter Goodwin

Peter Goodwin has worked at the University of Westminster since 1994. He has been Head of the Department of Journalism and mass Communication (2004-8) and  Director of Research for the School of Media, Arts and Design (2008 -15) Since 2015 he has been A Principal Research Fellow in CAMRI. His research interests include political economy of the media and communication, media policy, politics and the media and Marxism

His publications include Television under the Tories: Broadcasting Policy 1979-1997(1999), as well as a variety of articles in books and journals, on media policy, political economy of the media, public service media and Marxism.
