About me
After training in different therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), I completed a Masters in counselling psychology and qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the Salomons Centre, Canterbury Christ Church University in 2018. I developed a particular interest in trauma and community approaches to mental health, which informed my research with women who have experienced human trafficking. My current research interests include psychologically informed interventions and community initiatives supporting mental health, including using novel technology such as virtual reality.
I have great enthusiasm for teaching, and enjoy meeting new students through teaching, research supervision and my role as a personal tutor. I am particularly passionate about decolonising and diversifying the psychology curriculum.
